Cardio machine workout log from a photo

Most cardio machines don't sync to your phone. CardioSnapr fills the gap — snap a photo of the console after any cardio workout and it reads and saves your stats for you.

Beta: AI extraction can misread some console photos, so always check your stats before saving.

How it works

  1. Snap or upload a photo. Take a photo of the cardio machine console right after your workout — straight-on, full screen. Or upload from your camera roll.
  2. Check the extracted stats. CardioSnapr reads the numbers from your photo and shows you every field before saving. Edit anything that looks wrong.
  3. Save, copy, or export. Save to your workout history, copy a text summary, export to CSV, or email it to yourself.

Supported cardio machines

  • Treadmill
  • Exercise bike / upright bike / recumbent bike
  • Spin bike / indoor cycling bike
  • Rowing machine (Concept2, WaterRower, and others)
  • Elliptical / cross-trainer
  • Stair climber / StairMaster
  • SkiErg
  • Air bike / assault bike
  • Other cardio consoles with display screens

What stats can it capture?

CardioSnapr reads whatever stats are shown on the console screen. Depending on the machine, this can include:

  • Duration
  • Distance
  • Calories
  • Speed or pace
  • Cadence or RPM
  • Resistance, level, or incline
  • Heart rate (bpm)
  • Power output (watts)
  • Split time or pace (rowers)
  • Stroke rate (rowers)
  • Steps (ellipticals, stair climbers)

Works best when

  1. Take a clear, straight-on photo of the full console screen.
  2. Avoid glare — move or angle the phone slightly if needed.
  3. Capture the post-workout summary screen where available.
  4. Check stats in the review step before saving — AI can misread some displays.

Frequently asked questions

Which cardio machines does CardioSnapr support?
Treadmills, exercise bikes, spin bikes, rowing machines, ellipticals, stair climbers, SkiErgs, air bikes, and most other cardio consoles with a display screen.
Does it work with any brand?
Yes. CardioSnapr reads whatever text and numbers are visible on screen, regardless of brand. It works with LifeFitness, Precor, Technogym, NordicTrack, Matrix, and most other commercial gym equipment.
What if the machine only shows a few stats?
CardioSnapr extracts whatever is displayed and leaves other fields blank for you to fill in manually.
Does my gym machine need Bluetooth or an app?
No. CardioSnapr works from a photo — no connectivity, pairing, or gym membership app required.
How does CardioSnapr read the stats?
You take a photo of the console screen. CardioSnapr sends it to an AI vision model that reads the labels and numbers, maps them to standard workout fields, and shows you the result before you save. You can edit anything that looks wrong.
Do I need an account?
No. Guest Beta gives you 3 free scans with no account. Free Beta (free account) gives 20 scans per month.
