How it works
Snap a photo. Check the stats. Save your workout.
- Snap your screen. Take a photo of your cardio machine console right after your workout. Clear, straight-on, full screen.
- Check the stats. CardioSnapr extracts time, distance, calories, pace, incline, heart rate and more. AI can misread — check and edit anything before saving.
- Save your workout. Save it to your log, copy a summary, or export to CSV. Your data stays on your device.

Frequently asked questions
- What is CardioSnapr?
- CardioSnapr is an AI-powered web app that reads your cardio machine workout stats from a photo. You snap a picture of the console screen after your workout, CardioSnapr extracts the numbers, you check and edit anything that looks wrong, then save your workout.
- How does CardioSnapr read cardio machine stats?
- You take a photo of your cardio machine's console screen. CardioSnapr sends it to an AI vision model that reads the labels and numbers, then maps them to standard workout fields — duration, distance, calories, speed, pace, incline, and heart rate. You review the result before anything is saved.
- Which cardio machines does CardioSnapr support?
- CardioSnapr supports treadmills, exercise bikes, spin bikes, rowing machines, ellipticals, stair climbers, SkiErgs, air bikes, and most other cardio consoles. If your machine has a screen showing workout stats, CardioSnapr can usually read it.
- Can I edit the extracted workout stats?
- Yes. After CardioSnapr reads your photo, you see every extracted field before saving. You can edit any stat that looks wrong — the app highlights fields that may need attention.
- Does CardioSnapr save my workout history?
- Yes. Free Beta accounts get a full saved workout history. Guest users can scan without an account but history is not saved between sessions.
- Can I export workouts to CSV?
- Yes. You can export all your workouts or a single session as a CSV file from the Export tab inside the app.
- Is CardioSnapr accurate?
- Accuracy is very good for clear, straight-on console photos, but AI can misread busy or low-contrast screens. CardioSnapr is in beta — always check your stats in the review step before saving. The app flags fields that look unusual.
- Is CardioSnapr free during beta?
- Yes. Guest Beta (3 scans, no account), Free Beta (20 scans per month, free account), and Power Beta (100 scans per month, invite only) are all free during the beta period.
- Do I need an account to scan a workout?
- No. Guest Beta lets you scan up to 3 workouts without creating an account. Create a free account to unlock saved history and 20 scans per month.
